Into The Quiet

March 21 - 27, 2026

Not a wellness escape. Not a break.
This is a return to discipline, to silence, to what is essential.

Into the Quiet is a 6-day guided Water Fasting Retreat in the untamed landscape of Wales. It’s a stripped-back journey of self-inquiry, where you step beyond comfort and into the raw clarity that silence, fasting, and nature offer.

This is a space of devotion to stillness, presence, and truth.
Expect structure. Expect simplicity. Expect transformation.

What awaits you

Collage of three outdoor activity photos: a man hiking by a lake, a silhouette of a person drinking water at sunset, and a woman stretching in a forest clearing.

This is not a retreat for those seeking to “opt out.”
It’s a retreat for those ready to “drop in” — to the body, the breath, the inner wilderness.

Each day follows a clear, held rhythm:

🌿 Gentle morning movement to align and awaken
🥾 10km mindful walks through forests, hills, and moorland
💧 Water-only fasting supported by natural minerals
🌀 Evening meditation to reflect and ground
💬 Daily group circles for integration and authentic connection

Silence is not constant throughout the retreat. Instead, we weave in dedicated periods of complete silence outside of guided sessions. These silent windows create the container needed to listen deeply — not only to your thoughts, but to the quiet wisdom beneath them.

Participation in the full program is essential. This shared field of intention supports not only your personal process but the integrity of the group as a whole.

FAQ’s

6-Day Water Fasting & Wandering Retreat – FAQ
This retreat is for those ready to step out of their daily habits, strip things back to simplicity, and be fully immersed in nature. Six days of fasting and walking together in the wilds of Wales is not just a physical cleanse — it’s a mental, emotional, and spiritual reset. You’ll be held in a supportive group container, but the journey requires personal responsibility, a healthy body, and a willingness to meet yourself without distraction.

  • Yes — the walks are an essential part of the retreat and a key support for the fasting journey. They help keep the body moving, the mind clear, and the senses open to nature. While you may choose to rest on the odd day if you truly need to, it’s important to arrive with the mindset that you will walk each day.

  • Absolutely. The Welsh landscape is beautiful in all weather, and walking in the rain can be surprisingly refreshing. Just make sure to bring suitable waterproofs and warm layers.

  • No. This retreat is only for people who are currently in good health and not on any form of medication. I am not medically qualified to supervise fasting for those with medical conditions, and safety is the top priority.

  • This is a water-based fast. We will be drinking fresh, clean water throughout the six days, with the option of herbal teas and the occasional splash of freshly squeezed lemon. No coffee, fruit juice, or sweetened drinks.

  • No. No powders, capsules, tablets, or other supplements will be taken during the retreat. They are not necessary for a successful fasting process and can disrupt the body’s natural reset.

  • We will use a natural, gentle mineral supplement — derived from whole food sources — to help support electrolyte balance and overall wellbeing during the fasting process.

  • Each day will include periods of silence within the group, allowing you to drop deeper into your own inner process and connect with the land in a more profound way. If sitting in shared silence feels uncomfortable or challenging, this may not be the right retreat for you.

  • No previous fasting experience is required, but you do need to be in good health, with a willingness to listen to your body and follow guidance throughout the retreat.

  • We’ll be staying in simple, comfortable shared accommodation close to nature. The space is intentionally uncluttered to support rest, stillness, and connection with the land.

  • Yes — while the walks and group times are scheduled, there will be plenty of space for rest, journaling, or simply sitting quietly in nature.

  • No. It is not suitable if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, underweight, recovering from illness, or have any medical or mental health conditions. If you are unsure, please check with your doctor first and contact me before booking.
